The Dolphins have concluded their practices with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and all that's left is to play the preseason opener Monday night at Raymond James Stadium. The three practices with the Bucs had their share of highlights and lowlights.

Among the highlights:

-- Tight end Randy McMichael continues to impress, both with his blocking and his pass-catching ability.

-- Guard Mark Dixon once again did a good job against Bucs Pro Bowl defensive tackle Warren Sapp. Sapp even said after one practice that Dixon was as good a guard as he faces every year.

-- The Dolphins defensive line had a solid weekend against the Bucs offense.

Among the lowlights:

-- Running back Robert Edwards couldn't get on the field because of his groin injury. Although he hasn't been ruled out of the preseason opener, it's difficult to picture him playing Monday night.

-- The offense struggled at times, particularly in the blitz drill.

-- Rookie offensive lineman Greg Jerman, a long shot to make the team, didn't help his cause with a difficult weekend.
