The Dolphins, mercifully, close out their preseason schedule Thursday night with a home game against the Chicago Bears. The biggest key in this game will be avoiding injuries to significant players,

Front-line players, such as QB Jay Fiedler, RB Ricky Williams, LB Zach Thomas and DE Jason Taylor, will see very limited action against the Bears, probably not much more than a quarter.

Players nursing injuries also will be kept out, which will give Coach Dave Wannstedt another chance at evaluating some of the young players fighting for roster spots.
