More Coaching Moves

The Dolphins still are without an offensive coordinator, but Cam Cameron added two more pieces to his coaching staff on Monday with the hiring of Terry Shea and Brad Ohrt. The Dolphins also added a player to their roster.

The new player on the roster is Ryan Flinn, who played in the final two games of 2005 with the Green Bay Packers and punted six times for a 36.3-yard average.

Flinn played collegiately at the University of Central Florida, the same school that produced kicker Matt Prater, who also was signed in the offseason by the Dolphins.

As for Shea, there was some thought he might be considered for the offensive coordinator position.

He comes to the Dolphins after spending the last two seasons as QB coach with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he worked wonders with former Dolphins backup Damon Huard.

Shea also served as offensive coordinator with the Chicago Bears in 2004.

In addition, Shea has been a head coach at Rutgers and San Jose State and spent time as an assistant in the Canadian Football League. His quarterback at San Jose State was longtime NFL player Jeff Garcia.

As for Ohrt, this will be his first NFL job after he spent the last two years at Western Kentucky following four years at Louisiana-Lafayette.
