Here's a look at some notes, quotes and anecdotes from the Dolphins' 49-21 victory over the Detroit Lions.

-- The only injury sustained by the Dolphins was a right ankle sprain for CB Sam Madison. He will be re-evaluated on Monday, although early indications are that it's not serious.

-- TE Randy McMichael and DE Jason Taylor both left the game briefly after suffering leg cramps.

-- Trent Gamble's second-quarter touchdown was the first special teams touchdown for the Dolphins since Jeff Ogden returned a punt 81 yards against Green Bay in 2000.

--Randy McMichael's 73 yards receiving represented the highest total for a Dolphins tight end since Troy Drayton had four catches for 80 yards on Oct. 5, 1997.

-- The Dolphins' 90-yard touchdown drive in the first quarter was their longest since they marched 92 yards against Carolina in 1998.

--What they said:

RB Ricky Williams: "On my effort, I didn't really do much. The line did a great job. There was room to run and I tried to get the most out of each play as I could. With the passing game clicking the way it did, and the line playing so well, my job was extremely easy today."

QB Jay Fiedler: "It's never easy. It's easier than we thought it was going to be coming out. We were having a lot of fun out there. We were executing and it seemed like everything was working well. We put some pressure on them early, we got some points, and the big special teams touchdown put us ahead. Norv Turner called a great game."

LB Zach Thomas: "We've got to play better. I'm glad we won, but today we were mediocre. We need to play better next week (against the Colts) or it's going to be ugly."

DE Jason Taylor: "We did good today, but it's only one week. Then there's another week after that. When they put up a lot of points we can get some extra rest."
