New Running Backs Coach

Cam Cameron didn't take very long filling the opening for a running backs coach, hiring former colleague Bobby Jackson, with whom he had worked during his days in Washington.

Jackson has been out of coaching since spending three seasons as associate head coach/offensive coordinator/running backs coach under Mike Martz in St. Louis from 2000-2002.

In all, Jackson has 20 years of NFL coaching experience, including six with Washington (1994-99), two with the Phoenix Cardinals (1992-93), five with San Diego (1987-91) and four with Atlanta (1983-86).

"Bobby Jackson is one of the finest coaches I've ever had an opportunity to work with," Cameron said in a team-released statement. "He has a proven ability to develop running backs and we're very fortunate to have him as part of our staff."

Jackson replaces Bobby Williams, who was released from the coaching staff last week.
