Spragan Re-Signed

The Dolphins brought back another of their free agents on Wednesday when they re-signed linebacker Donnie Spragan to a one-year contract.

Spragan started nine games for the Dolphins last season, his second in Miami, but he'll be relegated to backup duty in 2007 after the acquisition of former Pro Bowl selection Joey Porter.

Last season, Spragan finished with 46 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a fumble recovery, a forced fumble and three passes defensed. He also posted four special teams stops.

Spragan joined the Dolphins as an unrestricted free agent from Denver in the 2005 offseason.
