Scouting Report: C Drew Mormino

The Dolphins went with another offensive lineman with their second pick of the sixth round with Central Michigan center Drew Mormino. Here is TFY Draft Preview's complete pre-draft scouting report on the offensive lineman, including bio, analysis and more.

School: Central Michigan

HT: 6-3 WT: 299

40-Yard Dash: 5.38

Bio: Four-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a senior.

Positives: Strong, stout blocker who is best in a small area. Quick into blocks, turns defenders off the ball and seals them from the action. Anchors in pass protection. Always looking for someone to hit.

Negatives: Struggles with the shotgun snap. Lacks flexibility, lumbers about the field and is not effective on the second level.

Analysis: A lineman with terrific weight room strength, Mormino struggles in anything other than confined quarters. Possesses marginal upside and will have a tough time finding a roster spot.
