SHOOTING FOR 4-0

The Dolphins will be looking to secure their first 4-0 start when they play at Kansas City for the first time since the 1991 season.

This is considered a dangerous game for the Dolphins because it comes between matchups against the division rival Jets and Patriots. In NFL jargon, it's the classic "sandwich" game.

The Dolphins are well aware of that fact, but don't think it's going to be a problem.

"It's still an AFC team, so we need this win," said linebacker Zach Thomas. "I know everyone said, we're picked to get beat because we have the Patriots next week and we're coming off a big win. If we slack off against this team, we'll get killed because they have a great offense. They have a reall good team, so it's going to be tough."
