The Dolphins are a little more than two days away from making their 2007 preseason debut, but Coach Cam Cameron has yet to talk to his players about the plan for the Jacksonville game and things like how much each player is going to play.
Cameron said he would meet with his coaching staff at about 9:45 p.m. on Thursday night to start talking over things like how he will use his quarterbacks.
The best guess is that Trent Green will start and play no more than a couple of series, and will be followed by Cleo Lemon and John Beck, with Gibran Hamdan possibly getting into the game as well.
Injury update: Along those same lines, Cameron said it was too early to say whether wideout Marty Booker would be playing against Jacksonville, adding he would get a medical report on the whole team from trainer Kevin O'Neill at that 9:45 p.m. meeting.
Booker sat out practice again on Thursday morning, along with Joey Porter (knee), Joe Toledo (foot), Andre Goodman (shoulder) and Mike Rosenthal (shoulder).
Beck bomb: Rookie quarterback John Beck continues to do some nice things at camp, and on Thursday morning he connected with rookie wide receiver Michael Malone on a bomb down the right sideline.
Malone got a little behind cornerback Shirdonya Mitchell on the play, but it took a perfect pass from Beck to make the connection.
