Workout Watch

By now, you probably know the story of how safeties Donovin Darius and Lamont Thompson found themselves on the same plane from Oakland to South Florida, where they were coming to work out for the Dolphins on Tuesday. Both Darius and Thompson ended up getting signed by the Dolphins, but there were seven others working out for the Dolphins that day. The list included four wide receivers.

Those four are Cortez Hankton, Billy McMullen, Clarence Moore and Courtney Roby.

Joining them, along with Darius and Thompson, were DE Jeb Huckeba from Arkansas, QB Preston Parsons from Northern Arizona and LB John Saldi from Texas Tech.

The wideouts, however, clearly are most recognizable names in the group outside of the two safeties.

Roby is a former third-round pick of the Tennessee Titans who caught 21 passes last season; McMullen is a former member of the Eagles and Vikings who caught 23 passes for Minnesota in 2006; while Moore caught 24 passes as a rookie for Baltimore in 2004 before his production diminished the last two years.

It's pretty well know that Coach Cam Cameron likes big receivers, so note that Moore is 6 feet 6, while McMullen is 6-4.
