Ricky Debut on Tap?

Ricky Williams' debut in his third stint with the Dolphins could come as early as Monday night against the Steelers. That was made possible earlier in the day when the Dolphins activated him to their 53-man roster.

The Dolphins had a two-week window to activate or waive Williams once he began working with the team, which happened last Monday.

Whether or how much Williams plays against the Steelers remains to be seen, but it won't be easy for him regardless.

And we're not talking solely about the rust factor; we're talking about a Steelers defense that traditionally is always among the toughest against the run.

Pittsburgh, in fact, had a streak of 34 consecutive games without allowing a 100-yard rusher snapped last Sunday by the Jets' Thomas Jones.

To make room on the roster for Williams, the Dolphins waived fellow running back Samkon Gado.

He had been claimed off waivers from Houston on Oct. 24, but was inactive for both of his games with Miami.
