Booker Traded

The Dolphins made their second trade in two days on Saturday, this time dealing running back Lorenzo Booker to Philadelphia for a fourth-round pick.

Booker was traded for the second of the Eagles' two fourth-round picks, the 115th overall, the 16th in the round.

The Dolphins earlier had traded their own fourth-round pick, the 100th overall, to Dallas in return for tight end Anthony Fasano and linebacker Akin Ayodele.

Booker was a third-round pick of the Dolphins last year and was kept inactive for the first seven games before Cam Cameron finally gave him a shot. When he did get his chance, Booker showed good playmaking ability out of the backfield, which makes this trade a tad surprising.

Then again, Bill Parcells is known as a guy who likes physical players, and Lorenzo Booker is a guy who relies on finesse.
