The Dolphins' much-maligned secondary underwent yet another change on Friday when cornerback Michael Lehan was placed on injured reserve and Joey Thomas was brought back to take his place.
Thomas was in camp with the Dolphins this summer before being released on Sept. 2. He has played 25 games in his NFL career, 14 with Green Bay in 2004 and 11 with the Packers and Saints the following year. He also was in camp with Dallas in 2007.
As for Lehan, the move to IR ends a frustrating season for him that included an ankle injury during the late stages of OTA practices.
Lehan, who signed a four-year contract to remain with the Dolphins in the offseason, was injured a hamstring during practice on Thursday.
