From The Other Side, Part 3

To get the lowdown on the Dolphins' next opponent, the Seattle Seahawks, we checked in with's Todd Breda. In Part 3, we get his take on Sunday's matchup.

Q: How depressing has this season been in Seattle?

TB: When you factor in not only the way the Seahawks season has turned out, but the state of both college and professional sports in the state of Washington this past year, let's just say prescriptions for Prozac in the region have increased ten-fold. It's been profoundly brutal.

Q: Do you buy into the notion that the Seahawks were doomed to fail this season because of Mike Holmgren's lame-duck status?

TB: I don't buy into the notion that it had to be imminent. Injuries derailed any fair shot at another playoff-caliber season, but once the wheels began to fall off with each mounting loss, you can absolutely believe that the situation became more and more of a factor, and sure, perhaps even a scapegoat.

Q: How much of a chance do you give the Seahawks of coming to Miami and beating the surprising Dolphins?

TB: Given the current situation, I would give the Seahawks about a 5 percent chance of beating those surprising Dolphins. Although, stranger things have happened in the NFL.

Any given Sunday, right?

Well, maybe next year.
