The Dolphins continue to add players to their roster, signing two more to 2003 contracts this week.

Signed were linebacker Joshua Symonette and defensive tackle Maurice Anderson.

Symonette, a college safety moved to linebacker by the Dolphins this past training camps, spent a few weeks on the Dolphins practice squad in 2002.

As for Anderson, he spent part of 2001 and all of 2002 on the New England practice squad.

In other news:

--Linebacker Derrick Rodgers has pleaded no contest to charges stemming from last summer's altercation as a South Beach restaurant and was placed on three years probation.

It is believed that Rodgers will wind up getting a one-game suspension from the NFL, although nothing has been determined yet.

-- Former Dolphins offensive line coach Paul Boudreau has been hired in the same capacity by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jaguars' new head coach is Jack Del Rio, who was expected to become the Dolphins' starting middle linebacker in 1996 until he was beaten out in training camp by a fifth-round pick named Zach Thomas.
