Linebacker Channing Crowder sat out practice on Wednesday because of a minor shoulder injury, but he certainly didn't sound like a player who wasn't expecting to play this weekend.
When asked how he would feel if he had to miss the rematch against the Jets, Crowder said: "I'd be mad. I hate missing games. I wanted to practice today. Tony (Sparano) had to talk me out of it. I just love playing football — football, fishing, pretty good at women, but now I'm locked up, so ...
"I love football. It would be hard to miss the game, a division game, the whole rivalry with the Jets, it's big. I'm doing everything I can to play this weekend."
Other players on the Dolphins' injury report were Jason Ferguson, who participated on a limited basis and has a foot injury, and Ricky Williams, who was listed with a thumb injury, although he was a full participant in practice.
