The Marshall Plan

So much for the Dolphins staying quiet this offseason. According to published reports, Miami has made a major transaction, acquiring wide receiver Brandon Marshall from Denver in exchange for second-round picks in the 2010 and 2011 drafts.

Marshall, who played collegiately at the University of Central Florida, had been a restricted free agent but he signed his tender with the Broncos earlier this week, facilitating the trade.

We'll have plenty of analysis on the trade and what it means later in the day.
