Wide receiver Gordon headlines supplemental draft options
The NFL supplemental draft is scheduled for Thursday, and former Utah
and Baylor wide receiver Josh Gordon is generating significant buzz
entering his workout at the Houston Texans' indoor practice facility
Gordon, a 6-4, 220-pound receiver, never played for the Utes. He sat
out last season as a transfer from Baylor. As a sophomore in 2010, he
caught 42 passes for 714 yards and seven touchdowns.
Gordon is one of eight players confirmed eligible for Thursday's draft.
Teams making selections submit bids to the league office and sacrifice
the corresponding pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

season, leading him to transfer to Utah. Willingham said the Utes did
plenty of homework and felt Gordon deserved a second chance.

experience in college."
Gordon has the skill set to warrant consideration in the first four

had 21 career touchdowns. At 5-9, 200 pounds, the big question for
Wesley is durability. A shoulder injury kept him out of three games
Former Georgia defensive end Montez Robinson was once a coveted
recruit, but off-field issues eventually landed him in jail. He was
dismissed from Georgia in April 2010 after his second arrest in a
three-month span. Robinson, 6-5, 245, was heavily recruited by multiple
