Antrel Rolle: The New York Giants defense had another great performance and it was lead strong safety Antrel Rolle. Rolle was seemingly all over the field in the game against the Eagles. Overall Rolle had 5 tackles, 1 sack, and a INT, but that wasn't just the reason why Rolle had a great game. Rolle did a great job early for the Giants containing Eagles quarterback Michael Vick and did a good job in coverage forcing a lot of incomplete passes.
Terrell Thomas: Today Terrell Thomas looked like the old Terrell Thomas on the field. The Giants' cornerback looked like the same guy before his two ACL injuries, leading the team in tackles with 11, a sack, and had a huge force fumble that stop a Eagles potential scoring drive at the end of the first half.
Eli Manning: Today wasn't Giants' quarterback's best game, but Manning did a good job of moving the Giants' offense against the Eagles' defense. Manning completed 25 of his 39 throws for 246 yards and most importantly had no interceptions. No turnover for Manning in the past two games and the Giants have won. Eli keeps doing that, Eli will keep winning football games.
Victor Cruz: The reliable Cruz was on hand for the Giants today against the Eagles. Cruz had 7 catches for 86 yards, and most of his catches were on 3rd down conversions. Even after coming out of the game with a neck injury, Cruz still played well and helped the Giants get the W.
Zak DeOssie: A play that could have led to a Giants loss can on the bad snap by Giants long snapper Zak DeOssie that resulted in an Eagles' touchdown. DeOssie's bad snap could have cost the Giants the game with the Eagles making it 15-7 at the time. DeOssie also had a penalty for an illegal snap. If the Giants special teams keeps having problems, expect the results to start falling under the loss column.
Justin Pugh: It was a tough game for the Giants rookie. The first round pick, committed 2 non called for penalties that disrupted a couple Giants' drives. Also Pugh in the second half was getting beat by the Eagles pass rush and a lot; causing Eli to make bad throws and forcing another intentional grounding penalty.
The Giants have a bye next week and come back on November 10th for a home game against the Oakland Raiders.
