The Eagles starting offense was quite out of sync on Friday night. Fortunately, one of its key components is on the fast track to a return.
Brandon Gowton of Bleeding Green Nation reports
that Riley Cooper
was back in action Sunday after missing pretty much all of training camp with a foot injury. Days after Cooper was seen still wearing a walking cast, the fifth-year wideout was taking part in individual drills, but was limited to just those. No timetable has been given on how soon Cooper could be available for full activity, or if he'll even play Friday night in Foxborough.
In returns elsewhere, Gowton notes that Jeff Maehl (ankle) and Bennie Logan (hamstring) were full participants on Sunday. Running back Chris Polk, like Cooper, performed only in individual drills, still reeling from a hamstring injury sustained approximately two weeks ago.
