Eric Winston & Wade Smith Visit With Eagles

The Eagles look to veteran free agents Eric Winston and Wade Watson to bolster offensive line.

ESPN's Adam Caplan reports the Eagles have welcomed right tackle Eric Winston and guard Wade Watson to the NovaCare Complex Tuesday.

The Eagles are already down two linemen heading into their Monday night game with the Indianapolis Colts. Left guard Evan Mathis suffered a sprained MCL while right tackle Allen Barbre suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday's 34-17 win over Jacksonville.

Winston, a 9 year veteran, spent 6 seasons from 2006-2011 playing for the Houston Texans. He would go on to play for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2012 and the Arizona Cardinals in 2013. In each of his last 7 seasons, Winston started in all 16 regular season games.

Smith, entering his 12th year, most recently spent four seasons with the Texans. He started every game in each season with Houston.

Winston and Smith most recently vied for positions with the Seattle Seahawks over the summer.

UPDATE 3:05 p.m. ESPN's Adam Caplan reports Winston left the NovaCare Complex without a deal with the team.
