Boykin Practices, Uncertain for Sunday

After leaving Sunday's game with injury, the Eagles' slot corner made his return to practice on Thursday.

Eagles fans held their breath when Brandon Boykin exited Sunday's loss to the 49ers with a hamstring injury. The revered cornerback slumped to the group during punt coverage, clutching his leg.

Boykin missed both Tuesday and Wednesday's practices, but returned on Thursday. It isn't known how much of a participant Boykin was in practice drills, or if he'll be active for Sunday's game with the Rams.

If Boykin is unable to play, the plan is to move effective safety Malcolm Jenkins into the slot on passing downs, while Earl Wolff would be pressed in at the second safety spot with Nate Allen. Nolan Carroll would continue to rotate with the outside corners.
