O-Line Changes: Vandervelde In, Smith Out

C Julian Vandervelde re-signs with the Eagles while OL Wade Smith is released.

The only constant in this 2014 season for the Eagles is change on the offensive line, and on Tuesday, the Eagles made yet another addition to the O-line re-signing 2011 draft pick Julian Vandervelde.

Vandervelde, a fifth round pick by the Birds in 2011, has played in 16 NFL games and served as center Jason Kelce's primary backup last season. He was released in the preseason due to a back injury.

The addition of Vandervelde required the team to release offensive lineman Wade Smith. Smith had been with the team since Week 3.
