UPDATE: Foles To Miss 8 Weeks Due to Injury

Sources confirm Nick Foles has a fractured collarbone and could miss up to 8 weeks.

Multiple sources including ESPN's Adam Schefter and the Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane are reporting that an MRI Monday confirmed Eagles quarterback Nick Foles sustained a hairline fracture on the left side of his collarbone. The injury, sustained in the first quarter of Sunday's 31-21 win over Houston, could sideline Foles for anywhere from 6-8 weeks.

Foles' injury is identical to the collarbone fracture Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers sustained last season. Rodgers missed 7 weeks of action before returning for his team's season finale.

Mark Sanchez will start for the Eagles Monday night against the Carolina Panthers.
