Mike Sielski of the Philadelphia Inquirer offers positive feedback on Mark Sanchez's first start in almost 2 years. He goes so far to say "the Eagles found that they can rev up their offense to a faster speed with Sanchez".
Courier-Post writer Kevin Callahan believes Mark Sanchez is in the right situation in Philadelphia. Reflecting on his performance, Callahan opines, "Sanchez sure didn't look like he was faking being a productive pro quarterback."
The Philadelphia Daily News' Paul Domowitch praises the play of Darren Sproles. Domowitch says of the Saints decision to trade Sproles in the offseason, "Sproles might not be why the Saints are sitting at 4-5 today, it certainly is a big reason why the Eagles are 7-2."
Matt Lombardo of NJ Advance Media tells us despite the convincing victory there is frustration on the offensive line in regards to the running game. Lombardo's piece quotes center Jason Kelce who vented, "Today, we ran the ball really poorly. I don't think (the offensive line) were gelling at all today, to be quite frank."
Lombardo also pens a piece highlighting the man who lit a fire under the backsides of the Eagles: injured linebacker DeMeco Ryans. Lombardo opines, "If Monday night is any indication, the Eagles would be wise to give Ryans the floor to make a speech before each of the remaining games this season."
