As we reported on Sunday, Nick Foles made the trip to Lambeau with his team. Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ Advance Media reported that Foles was more than just an observer. Foles was seen throwing the football and participating in sprints with the practice squad. Shorr-Parks reported that the third year Eagles quarterback "showed zero signs of being injured as he ran around the field, making one handed catches and pretending to drop back in 'the pocket' a few times before firing off a pass."
At his Monday press conference, head coach Chip Kelly told the media Foles has "been cleared to workout, but it isn't anything in terms of contact." Foles, who sustained a fracture to his collarbone in Houston two weeks ago, is scheduled to get another x-ray in the next couple of weeks. "Until they get an x-ray done," Kelly informed, "he'll continue to work out...try to stay in shape."
Foles is officially out for Sunday's game against Tennessee at the Linc, but said nothing beyond that lending to speculation that Foles may be able to return under center before season's end.
