VIDEO: Chip Kelly's Wednesday Presser

Eagles head coach Chip Kelly talks about Earl Wolff going on season ending IR and preparing for Tennessee in his mid-week press conference.

On a frigid Wednesday morning in South Philadelphia, Eagles head coach Chip Kelly addressed the media at the NovaCare Complex in advance of Sunday's game with the Titans.

Tuesday, the Eagles placed safety Earl Wolff on the injured reserve list, effectively ending his season. Kelly talked at length about the events that led up to that decision. "(Wolff) just came in on Monday...his leg was really bothering him," stated Kelly, "(The medical staff) went and got another MRI on him and it doesn't seem like he was healing from his injuries , so they made the decision to shut him down." The Eagles re-signed cornerback Roc Carmichael Tuesday to potentially fill the void left by Wolff.

Among other topics, Kelly addressed the status of offensive lineman Matt Tobin after sustaining a concussion in Sunday's loss at Green Bay and who may fill his spot if he's unable to suit up Sunday, the mentality his team has about putting losses behind them, the misconceptions about the Eagles' offense being just like the offense he created at Oregon and the defensive schemes Tennessee will likely employ against Philadelphia.
