First round pick Shawn Andrews has played like a veteran as the club's starting RG in the preseason, and head coach Andy Reid couldn't be more happy with his production on the line.
Third round pick Matt Ware was supposed to challenge Rod Hood for the nickel corner job, but he's been sidelined most of the preseason with a leg bruise, likely handing Hood the starting nod. Don't be surprised if Ware makes a run for the position as he becomes more healthy.
Fourth round pick-up J.R. Reed, a safety, had an impressive camp and preseason. He locked up the KR job with an 88-yard touchdown return against the Ravens and is pushing Clinton Hart for the backup free-safety job. Fullback and fifth-round pick Thomas Tapeh may become a factor for the second or third RB job now that Correll Buckhalter is out for the year with a knee injury.
Seventh-round pick Adrien Clarke (guard) probably will end up on injured reserve after tearing his hamstring in Friday's preseason win over the Ravens.
