Eagles swap DE's on Practice Squad

The Philadelphia Eagles today announced they have signed DE Darrell Lee to the practice squad. Lee replaces DE Alonzo Jackson on the practice squad after Jackson was signed by the New York Giants.

Lee (6-4, 273) participated in Eagles training camp this past summer before being released on August 27. He was originally signed as a rookie free agent by Dallas in 2004. After being released following training camp by the Cowboys, Lee was drafted in the first round by the Berlin of NFL Europe. During a productive 2004 season with the Thunder, he posted 26 tackles and 3.5 sacks.

A four-year letterman at Florida, Lee was a disruptive force along the Gators defensive line, playing in 45 games while registering 109 tackles and 8 sacks. As a senior, he was named to the All-SEC team, starting 13 games while posting 55 tackles and 4 sacks.
