We spoke at length with Colorado defender Brian Iwuh, who has been used exclusively at linebacker here in Mobile. Rated as the highest strong safety in the nation coming into his senior season, Iwuh said teams have spoken with him about playing both positions. Iwuh said he will request in the coming days that the Tennessee Titans staff, which is coaching the North, use him in the secondary.
The Kansas City Chiefs were gushing over Maurice Stovall in the stands. They like Stovall's hands and size. One thing they are leery about is his inexperience as a return specialist. Ironically enough, Stovall was placed as a punt returner at the end of today's session.
The buzz around the field this morning is Mike Heimindinger will leave the New York Jets and the team will fill their offensive coordinator position with either Chris Palmer or Steve Fairchild, former offensive coordinator of the St. Louis Rams. In regard to coaching vacancies, scout.com was told early Tuesday that former New York Jets defensive coordinator Donnie Henderson would be hired in the same capacity with the Lions. scout.com was also informed that Jets' offensive line coach Doug Marone had secured a job with another team and veteran offensive line coach Tony Wise (Panthers, Dolphins) would likely replace him.

Chargers' wide receivers coach James Lofton spoke briefly about his recent interviews with the Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills, the first time he has interviewed for an NFL head coaching position.
"It was interesting," Lofton said Tuesday. "I got to make an off-season and in-season plan which helped me really understand the process."
The Bills ended up choosing Dick Jauron as their head coach but the Raiders' job remains open - the only team without a head coach. The most popular choice of remaining candidates left on the open market is Steelers' offensive coordinator Ken Wisenhunt.
