Hall of Fame Game Opens Eagles Pre-Season

The Eagles and Oakland Raiders open up the birds' pre-season schedule at the annual Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio. The game coincides with the induction of Reggie White to the Hall of Fame.

The Eagles get the national spotlight for two of their pre-season games, which will be televised nationally. The Hall of Fame matchup with Oakland on August 6th will be televised by NBC as part of their return to football. Later on the schedule, the Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers make an appearance at Lincoln Financial Field in a game set to be televised on ESPN.

Three other pre-season games are set as far as who the opponents will be, but the times and dates are still up in the air and will be finalized at a later date.

The Eagles and Raiders will each play five preseason games opening up one week earlier than the rest of the league. Among those being inducted that weekend are former Eagles DE Reggie White and former Raiders head coach John Madden. Madden will call the game, along with Al Michaels, for NBC.
