It's time for Falcons football!

The first practice starts Friday morning at 10:00 am!

It’s here! Football season is finally here!

Friday morning at 10:00, the Atlanta Falcons will hit the field for the first time in Flowery Branch under new head coach Dan Quinn. It will be interesting and downright fun to see a new man in charge for the first time since 2008.

There are many new players, new coaches. It will simply be a new feeling around camp. But what will that create? A transition season, or one that could actually turn out to be successful?

There are many questions as camp begins for the Falcons, just like every other NFL team. Here are some of the things we will focus on in our coverage and some of the pressing issues facing the Falcons:

1. How will the changes implemented by Quinn help the Falcons?
2. Will the Falcons find a running game with Tevin Coleman or Devonta Freeman?
3. Can the offensive line improve with the new zone blocking scheme?
4. Can Roddy White still be effective?
5. Will Julio Jones’ contract situation impact camp?
6. Can the revamped defensive line become solid?
7. Will Vic Beasley be special right off the bat?
8. Is the secondary improved?
9. How much depth is there on defense?
10. Is this a playoff team or simply one needing another year?

The pigskin is flying. It’s time for football!
