Atlanta will have some west coast trips next season

The Falcons may have a tougher schedule in 2016 than the one they had this past season.

With the 2015 season over, we now know who the Falcons will be playing in the 2016 season.

Of course, the Falcons will play division rivals New Orleans, Carolina and Tampa Bay at home and on the road. Here are how the other 10 games will be split between the Georgia Dome and the road games:

HOME: San Francisco, Arizona, Kansas City, San Diego and Green Bay
ROAD: St. Louis, Seattle, Denver, Oakland and Philadelphia

Six of those teams are in the playoffs: Carolina, Arizona, Kansas City, Green Bay, Seattle and Denver. The opponents had a combined record of 114-94 during this past season.

Since Atlanta plays the AFC West teams next season, they will have two western trips, along with the game in Seattle against the NFC’s Seahawks.

The specific dates and order of the schedule will be released in April.
