Could former Bengals' safety Iloka replace William Moore?

Could the Falcons bring in a veteran free agent safety?

With William Moore released, the Falcons are looking at help at safety. Reports have Atlanta among the teams interested in Cincinnati free agent George Iloka.

Head coach Dan Quinn likes bigger defensive backs, and Iloka is 6-4 and weighs 225 pounds. He's 26 years old and spent the last four seasons with the Bengals. The Giants, Lions, Vikings and Bengals have joined the Falcons as having interest in Iloka.

Iloka started 12 games last season and all 16 games in both 2013 and 2014. Pro Football Rumors ranked him as the top free agent safety on the free agent market. Last season Iloka had 47 tackles, four pass deflections and one interception.

The Falcons have also been linked with another Cincinnati safety who is a free agent. Reggie Nelson has spent the last six seasons with the Bengals after playing his first three seasons with the Jaguars.
