Dan Reeves to Interview for 49ers' OC Job

Former Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Reeves will reportedly interview for the San Francisco 49ers' vacant offensive coordinator position.

Reeves, who turned 65 on Monday, spent 23 years as an NFL head coach with the Denver Broncos (1981-1992), the New York Giants (1993-96) and the Atlanta Falcons (1997-2003), winning 201 games (including playoffs) and making four appearances in the Super Bowl.

Reeves took the Broncos to three Super Bowls in the 1980s (Super Bowls XXI, XXII and XXIV) and brought the Falcons to Super Bowl XXXIII following the 1998 season.

Reeves has been out of coaching since being fired by the Falcons in December of 2003. He has recently served as an NFL analyst for the Westwood One radio network.
