"We did not meet in Indianapolis and at this point it's in his (Milloy's) best interest to explore other opportunities," said Todd France, Milloy's Atlanta-based agent.
Milloy signed with the Falcons in 2006, after spending three seasons with the Buffalo Bills. Milloy spent the first seven years of his NFL career with the New England Patriots, earning four trips to the Pro Bowl and helping the Patriots to a win in Super Bowl XXXVI.
Milloy entered the NFL as a second-round draft pick (36th overall) out of the University of Washington, and has missed just six games in his 13-year career.
The free agent signing period begins on Friday, February 27.
