The Atlanta Falcons announced on Friday that they have signed fifth round cornerback William Middleton and seventh round defensive tackle Vance Walker.
Middleton (5-10, 193) was the 138th overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft out of Furman, while former Georgia Tech standout Walker was chosen with the 210th pick.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed, though the Falcons signed their mid-to-late round draft picks in 2008, general manager Thomas Dimitroff's first season, to four-year deals.
Last year's 138th overall pick, Falcons linebacker Robert James, received a signing bonus of just under $200,000. Middleton's bonus will likely cross the $200K threshold. As the first pick of the seventh round, Walker's signing bonus is likely to be in the $70,000 range.
