The Giants took the practice field after their bye week missing C Shaun O'Hara again.
O'Hara had his right foot in a boot with what Tom Coughlin characterized as a "mild mid-foot sprain." And while Coughlin refrained from using the dreaded Lisfranc term, the injury that has waylaid so many players for extended periods, he did not set a timetable for O'Hara's return.
"We'll see how that goes," Coughlin said.
All of which means that O'Hara could miss his fourth game of the season in Seattle this Sunday. The frustrating part for O'Hara is that he had just gotten back two weeks ago from the left Achilles/ankle injury that cost him three games. Now, it may once again be time for Adam Koets to step up and continue a run-blocking streak that has garnered Ahmad Bradshaw three 100-yard efforts in the last four games.
O'Hara wasn't the only Giant missing. Backup cornerback Bruce Johnson was placed on season-ending injured reserve after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery over the bye. The Giants filled his roster spot with DE Alex Hall, who was awarded to them off waivers. Hall was with the Giants in training camp.
