The Giants can complete their special teams rebuild by signing a free agent place-kicker such as Mike Hollis or Steve Christie.
Special teams improvement was a high priority for the Giants this off-season and they made good on their word by brining in veterans such as kick returner Brian Mitchell
, punter Jeff Feagles
and a long snapper Ryan Kuehl
To complete the special teams rebuild, the club may sign another free agent veteran and part ways with Matt Allen, last seasons' rookie place-kicker, who struggled at times.
PK Mike Hollis is expected to visit with the late this week or early next week, and the team has also contacted Steve Christie according to a New York Times report.
Hollis converted 25 of 33 field-goal attempts for Buffalo in 2002 with his longest kick at 54 yards.
