Pre-Draft Visits

The Giants will have visits from several other prospective draft picks this week, including DT Johnathan Sullivan as reported yesterday

The Giants will take a look at the following players, who will visit the club over the next week:

CB Terence Newman of Kansas State - although the Giants are set with starting corners Will Peterson and Will Allen, Jason Sehorn recently departed leaving the depth at this position in question.

Defensive tackles Johnathan Sullivan of Georgia and William Joseph of Miami - Keith Washington was recently signed by the club as insurance for Keith Hamilton, who is coming off a serious injury from last season. The draft is deep for the defensive linemen, and you can expect the Giants to fill this void in day one of the draft.

Fullback Ovie Mughelli of Wake Forest - The Giants will need some competition for free agemt Jim Finn in training camp.

Running back Chad Brinker of Ohio - Although the Giants recently signed Dorsey Levens, Ron Dayne's backup role to Tiki Barber is still in question. Athough not a high priority the Giants may be looking for another back in later rounds.

Center Dustin McQuivey of Utah - It has been reported that the club will release Dusty Zeigler after June 1 in a salary cap move.
