Training Camp in Albany through 2006

The new agreement has the Giants staying in Albany for the 2004-2006 seasons. The previous contract would have expired after this summer's training camp.

It looks like the Giants will continue to use SUNY Albany as their training camp home through the 2006 season.

The Giants have trained in Albany since 1996, and this agreement, when signed will keep them there for an additional three season.

According to Michael Eisen of, John Mara, executive vice president and general counsel, was quoted as saying "We have been in discussions with the university for the past four months to extend the agreement for an additional three-year period and we have reached an agreement in principle to do that..."
