Giants' safety Will Hill suspended four games

With a checkered past and history of the off-the-field issues, Will Hill is quickly becoming his own worst enemy.

On Saturday, the NFL announced that current New York Giants free safety Will Hill was suspended four games for violating the league's Policy and Program for Substances of abuse.

A New Jersey native, Hill is in the midst of his second drug-related ban, making him eligible to return to New York's active roster immediately after the Giants play the Chiefs on September 30.

Last season, Hill violated the NFL's performance-enhancing substance policy when he took the attention deficit drug Adderall.

Hill, 23, was expected backup starting free safety Antrel Rolle, but his most recent suspension could land him in head coach Tom Coughlin's doghouse.

Big Blue opens training camp at the Timex Performance Center in East Rutherford, N.J. next Saturday.
