It's hard to believe that a previously 0-6 Giants' team has awakened from their prolonged slumbered and pulled to within one game of first place in the NFC East. While things looked pretty bleak for Rolle and company last month, Big Blue was able to reverse course and take advantage of some inept quarterback play from opponents the past four weeks.
"We kind of buried ourselves pretty deep starting out 0-6," admitted Rolle of his team staggering out of the gate. "Like I said, you're just taking it one game at a time and we're just trying to give ourselves a fair chance."
New York is alive and well in the NFC playoff picture, but a loss to Dallas on Sunday would take postseason destiny out of the Giants' hands and cast doubt on their dreams of playing in February's big game. Big Blue has overcome incredible odds before and Rolle has drawn inspiration from how his team responded to a disastrous start to the 2013 regular season.
