Rogers-Cromartie: We frustrated Brady

The New York Giants gave the game away in the waning moments, but Rogers-Cromartie thinks Big Blue was able to rattle Tom Brady.

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie had a lot to say following the extremely disappointing loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday including how the defense was able to make things tough on Tom Brady.

"Yeah oh yeah definitely," said Rogers-Cromartie as to whether the Giants frustrated Brady. "Scrambling out of the pocket, guys sacking him, causing fumbles.

The Giants played toe-to-toe with arguably the best team in football and Rogers-Cromarite chose to see the bright side of the rough Week 10 loss.

Take this game, let’s get in the film room, and understand where the mistakes went wrong and why we lost," noted the Giants cornerback.  "Take the positives away that we went against one of the best, and we had it.  We're right there, we’ve just got to find a way to dig deeper.”

There’s a lot to take away from what Rodgers- Cromartie is attempting to address to both the media and the fans. He’s trying to get people to realize and remember that the Patriots are not only league's the best team this year as they are undefeated but also the defending Super Bowl Champions. The Giants nearly beat the Patriots and Rodgers- Cromartie was right in the middle of it with his exceptional cornerback play.

“It’s very frustrating, there’s plenty of times this season we had the opportunity to win and we just didn’t," noted Rogers-Cromartie.  "It’s very, very frustrating.  We had the opportunity to seal the game and didn’t come up with it.  We’ve just got to find a way to win.”

“Frustrating” is the best way to describe the way the Giants are losing their games and it always comes down to closing out the games that they should be winning. Hopefully that will change down as it is becoming time to close out the season and win a very winnable weak division that they currently sit on top of.
