Key Matchups:

Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh vs. Giants Weston Richburg and Justin Pugh

Suh signed a huge contract during the offseason, but has struggled to make the type of impact he was expected to provide.  The Dolphins rush defense is one of the worst in the NFL, and the Giants need to get their rushing attack going. The Giants offensive line has been getting beaten up the last few weeks, but if Pugh and company could neutralize Suh, hopefully they can get the running game going.

Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes vs. Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham jr.

Odell Beckham jr. has been playing great the past few weeks, and on Monday Night Football, he is looking to continue that trend. Grimes is a very good cornerback but OBJ will still likely make some plays.

Interesting Notes and Key Facts:

Former teammates at LSU Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham jr. will be reunited on Monday night, and rumor has it they are planning on putting on a “one-handed catch” show before the game.

Since 2012, Ryan Tannehill has been taken down more than any other quarterback in the league.

The Giants are ranked 29th in rushing offense in the NFL at 88.1 yards per game, and the Dolphins defense are ranked 30th giving up over 134.8 yards per game in the NFL.

The Dolphins have only won two games in a row once this season. On the other hand, the Giants are on a three game losing streak.

While the Dolphins defense struggles against the run, the Giants struggle against the pass, where they rank last in the NFL giving up 314. 5 yards per game.
