You can’t count on them, but you can’t count them out. That’s been the theme of the Giants 2015 campaign and it rang true on Monday night.
With their backs against the wall and very possibly their season on the line, Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. sparked the Giants to a much-needed win.
Manning threw four TDs and only four incompletions as he helped the Giants overcome a 24-17 fourth quarter deficit and score 14 unanswered points to seal the victory.
Beckham hauled in two scores including a jaw-dropping 84-yard catch and run with 11:13 remaining in the game to put the Giants ahead for good.
Beckham amassed 166 receiving yards and seven receptions on nine targets.
Running back Rashad Jennings enjoyed a season-high 88 rushing yards on 22 carries to help resurrect a left-for-dead rushing attack.
Following the game Beckham and former LSU teammate Jarvis Landry exchanged jersey as a sign of mutual respect and admiration. Landry tallied 11 receptions for 99 yards in the game in the losing effort.
The Dolphins celebrated their 50th anniversary and honored some all-time great players and coaches including Don Shula, Dan Marino and Larry Cszonka among others.
New York is now tied atop the division with Philadelphia and Washington and will welcome the undefeated Carolina Panthers into MetLife Stadium in Week 15.
