OBJ dodges questions about facing Josh Norman

Odell Beckham Jr. refused to talk about facing Josh Norman twice a year now that he's with the Redskins.

Don’t add Odell Beckham Jr. to the list of people eager to share their thoughts on Josh Norman signing with the Washington Redskins.  The Giants star receiver met with The Giants Beat and team reporters for the first time this season and danced around questions about his arch-nemesis joining an NFC East rival.

“I play for the Giants, so I’m looking forward to this year,” Beckham responded when asked about his reaction to playing Norman twice this year. “Pretty much everything that we have set ahead of us and like I said we have some new additions to the team, so it’s going to be a good year.”

The Giants and Redskins will clash on September 25 at MetLife Stadium, which will mark the first time the two will do battle since their backyard rumble in Week 15 of the 2015 season.

When asked whether he had the date circled on his calendar, the Beckham shifted his focus to the 2016 season opener.

“September 11 I think is our first game against the Cowboys,” deadpanned Big Blue's wideout.

Obviously Beckham is downplaying the significance of his early season meeting with the Pro Bowl defensive back, but don't be fooled because it will be must-see TV when the two stars go toe-to-toe in Week 3.
