Will OBJ become latest Kardashian casualty?

Odell Beckham Jr. might want to take pause before getting involved with Khloe Kardashian.

The football world clashed with a glamorized reality TV fan base this weekend.

The Kardashians are known to date athletes, so it comes as no surprise that Odell Beckham Jr. is the latest NFL star to join the clan.

Khloe Kardashian, 31, and OBJ, 23, were seen flirting at Drakes pool party. A casual night of fun caused a lot of controversy for the famous duo.

New York Giants fans and reality TV enthusiasts immediately took to social media to confront the couple on their newfound romance.

The consensus: fans are already plotting the couple's downfall.

Kardashian recently filed for divorce again from her husband, Lamar Odom, after helping nurse him back to health from a life-threatening drug overdose.

There is some concern that her recent fling with OBJ will send Odom spiraling downward again.

Kardashian also got a mouthful from a frenzy of angry Giants fans on twitter. People were fearful of the "Kardashian curse" that ruined the sports careers of previous suitors.

Some fans are even sure that their brief romance is a sign that the season is officially over due to the Kardashians dating history.

Let us reminisce for a minute. There was Kim Kardashian and RB Reggie Bush, who ended their relationship in 2010 after three years of dating. The Heisman trophy recipient turned into an offensive weapon the following year after the breakup. He rushed for 1,086 yards, making it the best season of his career (Coincidence? Fans don't think so).

Then there was her marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries for a total of 72 days before filing for divorce. He was never an All-Star, but his career definitely went downhill.

Okay, so their track record with athletes isn't great, but those were full-fledged relationships. Kardashian used twitter to clarify that it was only some harmless flirting.

Giants summer training camp starts on July 28 so something tells me that this romance will be short-lived. Although it seems to be a fling, fans are still worried about OBJ's mindset going into preseason training.

The only thing Giants fans want to see OBJ doing is focusing on football and any potential distraction threatens a historic season that fans have been dreaming of since the end last year.
