Game Balls and Goats: Week 15 Edition

The Giants Beat recalls the best and worst from a Week 15 win.

Game Balls: After weeks of trying to improve the Giants' running game, Big Blue finally saw a spark from Paul Perkins. He ran for 56 yards on 11 carries, averaging 5.1 yards per carry. Perkins showed promise by running hard and bouncing to the outside when necessary.

It was Justin Pugh's first game back after combatting a MCL injury and his return propelled the O-line. As a unit, the Giants' offensive line only allowed two sacks and as a team, they rushed for over 100 yards.
After losing Janoris Jenkins early in the game, DRC stepped up and moved from his normal slot/corner position to playing outside against Golden Tate. Rodgers-Cromartie finished the game with three pass deflections and a game sealing interception against Matt Stafford.
And of course, in typical OBJ fashion, the star WR had another one-handed TD to add to a decorated highlight reel.
Goats: RB Zack Zenner fumbled when the Lions were about to score a crucial TD. It killed the Lions' momentum and allowed the Giants to get the ball back in the second quarter.
