Game Balls and Goats: Week 17 Edition

The Giants Beat hands out game balls and labels goats from the final regular season game of the year.

The New York Giants destroyed the Washington Redskins glimpse at the playoffs with a 19-10 victory on Washington's home turf.
Game Balls: This was Paul Perkins first career start and he killed it, proving a chance to become the Giants go-to RB in the playoffs. He finished the game with 21 carries for 102 yards. The Giants were confident in their running game with Rashad Jennings also keyed in, recording 52 rushing yards and a TD.
Pro-Bowl pick Janoris Jenkins has been the Giants' star CB this season, but Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was the one who took the spotlight on Sunday. He had a huge game, with two interceptions that demolished the Redskins' momentum. With the Redskins trying to get on the board, they had the ball at the Giants' 23-yard line. Cousins looked for Maurice Lynell Harris, but the pass was intercepted by Rodgers-Cromartie. DRC capped off an amazing perfomance with a big fourth-quarter play, diminishing Washington's chance at the playoffs with his second interception of the game.
Goats: Josh Norman has to be the goat following Sunday's tough loss. Instead of prioritizing getting his team into the playoffs, he began jawing with Beckham Jr. throughout the contest. OBJ ignored Norman's attempts to ignite a fight and instead came out on top. Norman ended the game with two penalties and was unable to stay in the game mentally
